Vision Statement

Like no other organization, Petal Sports Association requires a support team of volunteer coaches, assistants, officials — hundreds of moms and dads — before the officials can shout “Play Ball!”

Being active in sports is not simply playing a game but a compelling lesson in teamwork, sportsmanship, fair play and the discipline experienced through quality coaching.

Our mission is to serve local youth through sports. We do so by creating an environment that:

1) Focuses on player development
2) Fun for all players
3) Teaches life skills through competition
4) Fosters a passion for, and respect for, the game Sports are a great way to teach life skills.

We strongly encourage everyone (parents, coaches, and officials) to model our mission. -Each and every kid is our first and only priority. -

We honor and respect the game and the traditions of all sports -We are passionate about teaching sports to ALL the kids -We teach life skills through healthy competition. We make it FUN for all. In everything you do, ask yourself this question: "Long after the game scores have faded from memory, what will these kids remember? What will they have taken away from this experience?
